First runners at Chelmsford tomorrow

Tuesday, January 27, 2015
MAJOR CRISPIES and NIMBLE KIMBLE will be our first 2 runners at the newly opened Chelmsford track tomorrow. We had a bit of luck there when it was called Great Leighs so we are looking forward to having runners there and it will be interesting to see what it is like now.
MAJOR CRISPIES runs in a 6 furlong handicap, there are 11 runners and he is drawn 4.  He ran well at Lingfield on his seasonal debut and has been in god form at home since that run. He missed the break that day but it was a good run under the circumstances, hopefully he will  be a bit sharper tomorrow. He faces stiff opposition tomorrow, Godolphin saddle the favourite PRETEND who looks a useful prospect but there is good prize money so it worth having a go and we are hoping for the best.
NIMBLE KIMBLE runs in a 10 furlong handicap and is badly drawn again in stall 10 of the 13 runners. She has been badly drawn every time this winter. This is her first time over this trip but we think the step up in distance will suit her. If she can overcome the draw and get a good position then we hope she can run well.
