Bainne first time on Tapeta tomorrow

Thursday, November 27, 2014
BAINNE is running in a 5 furlong handicap at Wolverhampton tomorrow, she is drawn 2 of the 12 runners. She ran very well at Southwell last time out on the fibresand over this trip. She does look as if she is crying out for 6 furlongs but there isn't a suitable race for her there for a while so we thought we would try her on a different surface. She has not run well so far in England at Lingfield and Kempton so we thought we would try her on the one surface she hasn't tried, the tapeta at Wolverhampton. Her run last time was a particularly good effort as she came from a long way back and ran on really well in the closing stage. Ryan Tate deserves a lot of credit as he never gave up on her and kept her going all the way to the line, he rides her again tomorrow so can hopefully get a good tune out of her again. The handicapper left her on the same mark after that race and she is stepping down in class tomorrow. We have been delighted with her at home since her last run so if she takes to the surface she should run a good race.
