Two runners at two meetings tomorrow

Thursday, September 11, 2014
TIGHT LIPPED and WIND PLACE & SHO both run tomorrow at Sandown and Salisbury respectively. WIND PLACE & SHO runs in a mile median auction maiden and is drawn 3 of the 12 runners. He ran better than his finishing position implies on his debut.  He missed the break and didn't get the smoothest of runs, they all finished in a bunch so he wasn't beaten that far. The trip will definitely suit him but the ground is an unknown. he handled cut in the ground well at Sandown but the ground will be quicker at Salisbury tomorrow. He will start at a long price tomorrow but could finish better than these odds suggest.
TIGHT LIPPED ran no race at all last time out at Sandown and there was no obvious reason. He will be reunited with Rosie Jessop tomorrow, he has always run well for her so we hope he can bounce back to form in her hands. She has never been out of the first 3 on him and has finished second on him at Sandown before so let's hope she can keep up the good record on him tomorrow.
