Consistent Cove can go close at kempton

Tuesday, September 2, 2014
SANDY COVE runs at Kempton tomorrow evening in a mile and 3 furlong handicap. The trip and track should suit him well but it is a reasonably competitive race for it's type. He was third there earlier in the season but that was over a mile which was too short for him. He is such  a consistent and genuine performer who really deserves to get his head in front. Let's hope the dice rolls the right way for him tomorrow.
BRIDGEKEEPER runs earlier in the day tomorrow at Lingfield. He is running in a 6 furlong maiden. He ran well first time out at Nottingham on fast ground but was slightly disappointing next time out at Windsor when the going was on the soft side of good. He has been fine after the race so hopefully that run can be attributed to the ground. The going is currently good tomorrow, he would be a doubtful runner if the ground became soft.  It is a competitive maiden but we hope he can show the form tomorrow that he showed first time out at  Nottingham.
