Wind Place and Sho makes debut at Sandown tomorrow

Thursday, August 28, 2014
WIND PLACE AND SHO makes his racecourse debut in a 7 furlong 2 year old maiden at Sandown tomorrow. He is a full sister to IRON BUTTERFLY and looks a typical member of the family. He is destined to be a middle distance/stayer on the flat and will go hurdling at some stage in the future. We didn't expect him to make his racecourse debut this early but he has been pleasing us at home and has come to hand well. The ground is soft tomorrow and this is an unknown as we have not done much with him on this ground. However he is by Shirocco and most of his progeny like soft ground and so did IRON BUTTERFLY so you would expect him to be able to handle it.  There is a big field of 15 runners  but hopefully he will run an encouraging race.  It is a nice track to make his debut on and it will be interesting to see how he runs.
