Handicap debut for Dancing Angel

Monday, July 7, 2014
DANCING ANGEL runs in a handicap for the first time at Lingfield tomorrow. This will also be her first try on the polytrack. There are 12 runners and she is well drawn in stall 4. She was slightly disappointing in the 2nd of her 3 runs at Windsor but ran perfectly respectably in her other 2 races. The ground at Yarmouth last time out was possibly a bit quick for her but she showed decent speed over 6 furlongs that day so runs over the same trip tomorrow. She probably needs soft ground to be shown at her best so the polytrack is a good alternative for her whilst ground conditions remain as they are. On her home work she should run well off  her handicap mark of 58 but it all depends on how she handles the track. She is not experienced at running around a bend but if she can cope with that she should be thereabouts tomorrow.
