London Skolar heads for Lingfield tomorrow

Thursday, December 5, 2013
LONDON SKOLAR is having his first run back after a break in a 12 furlong handicap at Lingfield tomorrow. There are 8 runners and he is drawn 5. He had 3 runs at the beginning of the year but was weak and backward so was given a good break to allow him to strengthen up and mature. He is a nice big backward type who is being prepared for a jumping campaign at some stage. He is a full brother to IRON CONDOR and half brother to IRON BUTTERFLY,  both of whom improved with age so hopefully he will do the same. He has been working nicely and definitely looks to have improved at home so we hope he can run a nice race tomorrow. This will be his first run in a handicap. He could run on the flat again before going jumping depending on how he goes tomorrow.
