Handicap debut for Himalayan Peak tonight

Thursday, June 20, 2013
HIMALAYAN PEAK makes his handicap debut at Lingfeld this evening over 12 furlongs. There are 10 runners and it is a competitive contest for the grade of race with some interesting staying prospects in the line up. He is a horse we like a lot though and he has a future as a stayer as he gets older and stronger and he has the pedigree to do that. He handles the polytrack well but we are slightly concerned that the track may not suit him as he is a big long striding horse. He has been working nicely at home so we hope he runs well this evening.
