Fulney heads for Ascot tomorrow

Friday, May 10, 2013
FULNEY is to have her first start of the season at Ascot tomorrow in a mile fillies only handicap. The stiff straight mile should be ideal for her. She has run well over a straight mile at Yarmouth and she has won at Sandown which is a stiff track. The ground is currently good/firm, good in places which will suit her, she wouldn't want it to rain too much there. It is a tight handicap but there are only 11 runners, FULNEY is drawn right in the middle in stall 6. Cathy Gannon is reunited with her, she was on board when she was narrowly beaten on her racecourse debut as a 2 year old at odds of 100-1! This is the first time she has been able to ride her since so let's hope they can go one better this time.
