Scottish Star drops back in trip at Ascot tomorrow

Tuesday, April 30, 2013
SCOTTISH STAR runs in a mile handicap at Ascot tomorrow. His last run was over 11 furlongs and he didn't stay so hopefully the drop back in trip to a mile on a stiff  straight track will suit him. He has won over a mile on the polytrack before and that has been the only real chance he has had over this trip. He has been working well with SPA'S DANCER at home and he ran a very good race over a mile at Sandown last Saturday so the horse is in good form. Hopefuly the ground will dry out in time for him as he likes good fast ground. He should run very well tomorrow and Ryan Tate rides him, he takes 5 pounds off his back, which could prove very useful.
