Busy Saturday

There are 3 runners tomorrow at 2 different meetings. TORRAN SOUND starts proceedings at Bangor, he runs in a 2 1/2 mile handicap hurdle. He hasn't run there before, it is a fairly sharp track which should suit him. Hopefully they won't get any more rain there as he likes good ground. He hasn't run since his aborted run over fences in February, he has been waiting for the better ground. He is in good form at home and should run well at a decent price.
GIFT OF MUSIC and HIMALAYAN PEAK both run at Nottingham and are having their second career starts. GIFT OF MUSIC won first time out over 6 furlongs, she is dropping back to 5 furlongs but on pedigree this should not inconvenience her. She is a grand daughter of LOCH SONG and by the sprinter CADEAUX GENEREUX. She is showing plenty of speed at home so it is worth a try. It is a 3 year olds only fillies handicap and was the only race of this type for her at the moment. It is an open looking handicap but she is well and we are hoping for a good run.
HIMALAYAN PEAK runs in the 10 furlong maiden race. On pedigree you wouldn't think he would be up to winning a competitive maiden but he has to make his seasonal debut somewhere. The big yards are well represented in the race and at this time of year these type of maidens are very hot as everyone still thinks they have got a horse for the Derby! He should make up into a nice horse for the future but may find one or two too good for him tomorrow.
