Conditions favour the Fox

Saturday, March 9, 2013
The rain has come at the right time for WILY FOX who runs at MARKET RASEN tomorrow in a 2 mile 3 furlong conditional jockeys hurdle race. They have had rain there today and it is still raining, the only worry is that snow is forecast so there is a precautionary inspection in the morning. WILY FOX ran very well at Taunton last time out over 2 mile 4 furlongs and the form of the race has worked out well. The winner has won again off a 9 pound higher mark, WILY FOX runs off only a one pound higher  handicap mark than last time. He was a bit slowly away that day so we will make sure that doesn't happen again but he does need holding up. He will be ridden by Jack Quinlan, who will be one of the more experienced in the race, and if he runs up to his last run he should be thereabouts again tomorrow.
