Baan battle with snow to get to Kempton tomorrow

Sunday, January 20, 2013
BAAN has a good chance tomorrow at Kempton if racing goes ahead and he can get there. With snow falling in Newmarket today, the lorry may not be able to get out onto the roads. It would be a great shame as it looks a good opportuntiy for him. It is a 2 mile handicap for horses rated 0-55 and there are 11 runners. He is drawn well in stall 1 and will be ridden by in form jockey Ryan Tate, who rode a double recently. He knows the horse well having ridden him several times before including finishing second on him at Yarmouth on the turf. The horse is also in good form having finished a close second last time out from a bad draw. Let's hope he can go one better tomorrow, weather permitting!
