Wily Fox to follow up at Fakenham tomorrow

Sunday, December 9, 2012
WILY FOX and GO SET GO run in the first 2 races at local track Fakenham tomorrow. GO SET GO runs in the first race, a 2 1/2 mile 'National Hunt' maiden and there are 10 runners. He had some good form in bumper races but rather lost his way over hurdles, this was mainly due to running on extremes of going. He has had a good summer break so hopefully he can now get back on track. The yard is in good form and he should run a nice race.
WILY FOX faces 12 rivals in a 2 mile handicap hurdle. He has been put up 5 pounds for his recent win at Folkestone, it is hard to say if this is a fair rise in the weights. He will be ridden by Paddy Brennan again which is an advantage as he now knows the horse after riding him to victory last time. The only slight worry is that he needs to be held up and as Fakenham is a tight track you do need a bit of luck if you are coming from behind. They usually go a good gallop around there which should help. The horse is in good form after his recent win so hopefully he can follow up tomorrow.
