Torran Sound heads for Uttoxeter

Wednesday, November 28, 2012
Uttoxeter has survived the weather tomorrow and TORRAN SOUND runs there in a 2 1/2 mile handicap hurdle, it is an 11 runner field. He ran well last time out at Fontwell to finish 3rd beaten less than 3 lengths so he is in good form. He was ridden by Jack Quinlan that day and he takes the ride again tomorrow. He has run well at the course before over the same trip so he has alot in his favour. He is very well in himself so we are hoping for a good show from him tomorrow.
On Friday GIFT OF MUSIC makes her racecourse debut in a 6 furlong median auction race at Wolverhampton. It doesn't look the strongest of maidens on paper, she is drawn 2 of the 7 runners. She is a well bred filly being a grandaughter of Lochsong. She has done nothing wrong at home but has been immature all year. She has been pleasing us lately and looks capable of winning a race on the all weather. We expect her to need the experience but it will be interesting to see how she goes on Friday.
