STORMING REDD and GO SET GO both have chances over hurdles this weekend. STORMING REDD heads up the A1 to Doncaster tomorrow where he runs in a novice handicap hurdle over 2 miles, there are 11 runners. The good ground there should suit him as his best form was at Kempton on good ground, he didn't appear to handle the soft ground at Warwick last time out. The aim tomorrow will be to ride him like he was ridden at Kempton and Leicester he will make the running if he can. He was very badly handicapped when he first ran in handicap company but has now come down to a more realsitic mark . Hopefully the combination of a lower rating and better ground will give him a chance tomorrow.
GO SET GO runs in a a 2 mile handicap hurdle at Huntingdon on Sunday. He was also entered in the maiden hurdle but that looks a hotter race. He has to carry alot of weight in the handicap but his rating is not unreasonable for the form he has shown. He has been declared in the hope that they will get the rain that is forecast as he would not want fast ground. It is not the strongest race on paper and if the ground is good he should have a chance. He has been running well and deserves to win a race.
