WESTER ROSS won nicely at Uttoxeter this afternoon. It was a well deserved win for the owner Peter Hillman as he has been incredibly patient with the horse and kept faith in him. WESTER ROSS will be campaigned mainly over jumps now. He looks capable of jumping fences one day but will be kept to hurdles for the time being. His handicap rating is likely to go up now so his next race is likely to be a novice hurdle where he will have to carry a penalty.

WESTER LODGE ran another sound race at Wolverhampton this evening but found one too good. He finished a good second and is clearly still in good heart.
