Singin' the Blues more tuned up for tomorrow

Wednesday, October 14, 2009

SINGIN' THE BLUES is expected to show more speed on the turf at Nottingham tomorrow than he did in his first run on the all weather. He never really got involved until the race was nearly over last time out. Hopefully he will be a bit sharper this time and will finish alot closer. There look as if there will only be 10 runners now and he is drawn 2. He will be well supported from the crowd as he is owned by Blue Peter Racing 9 and they will be well represented there tomorrow.
On Friday TURKISH LOKUM returns to Wolverhampton where she was third last time out. That was over 6 furlongs but it is over 1 furlong longer tomorrow. This should suit her too as she has been placed on the turf over this trip too. She is beginning to turn in her coat but seems in good form at home still so hopefully she will run well again on Friday. The only negative is the draw as she is drawn 12 of the 12 runners, right on the outside.
