Low draws have been favoured all week so far at Royal Ascot so James Eustace is very happy to be drawn 1 with WAR ARTIST for Saturday's Group 1 Golden Jubilee Stakes. WAR ARTIST's preparation has gone smoothly and he seems to be in the same form now as he was at York. If he runs up to the York form he is in with a good chance on Saturday as he does not have to carry a 5 pound penalty this time. It is obviously a red hot race and the 2 horses that the trainer has most respect for are the Australian horse, Takeover Target, and the French trained Marchand D'Or. Takeover Target is drawn next to WAR ARTIST in stall 2 which could be a help too. We wish the Park Lodge team the best of luck in their quest for Group 1 glory. It is great for all the staff in the yard to have a runner with a real chance in such a prestigious race.
AT THE MONEY has been declared for Newmarket on Saturday and the race has only attracted a small field. However he will only run if there is significant rain which looks unlikely at the moment. Likewise CAVENDISH will be declared for Pontefract on Sunday but he also need alot of rain if he is going to run.
