AT THE MONEY is running at Pontefract this afternoon over 2 miles 5 furlongs. This is the longest trip he has tried but James Eustace does not feel that will be a problem as he is a dour stayer. The ground is good/soft which should be fine for him, ideally he woule like it even softer. There is another front runner in the race which will ensure a good gallop which is what he needs. It is a quite a competitve contest but the horse is in good form and has a definate chance.
CAVENDISH has been declared to run at Southwell on the turf tomorrow. He has come out of Friday's race in good form. The ground is a slight concern as it is drying out all the time. If it dries out too much he may well be a non runner on the day. Tomorrow's race is over 2 miles, 2 furlongs longer than Friday but he should stay the extra distance.
