GARREL GLEN will have her first run for the yard, since she joined us from Mark Tompkins, at Newmarket tomorrow. Mark owns her in partnership with David Noblett and we are very grateful to them both for sending the filly to us. She won on the Rowley Mile last autumn as a 2 year old so clearly handles the track. She has run 3 times this year and her performance in a 10 furlong listed race at Goodwood was a good run and the form has worked out well. She is running off a mark of 89 tomorrow and if she runs to the form of her Goodwood run then this is not a ridiculous rating. This will be her first attempt at 12 furlongs but Mark has always thought she will stay further as she matures and she is by Mount Nelson, an influence for stamina. We have booked Tom Queally to ride her not knowing that he rode David Noblett's first racehorse Cee Dee Nee to victory at Haydock so we hope this is a good omen. GARREL GLEN has been working nicely at home so we hope she can run a nice race and progress from here. It is surprising that there are only 4 runners with decent prize money on offer and we are assured of a share of that with such a small field.
