SEE THE CITY travels up the A1 tomorrow to run in a 12 furlong handicap at Pontefract. Ryan Tate rides him and he is drawn 3 of the 11 runners. He ran much better at Kempton last time out with blinkers on so he wears them again tomorrow. He travelled much better throughout the race and looked as if a step up in trip should suit him. We also think that he needs cut in the ground which he will definitely get tomorrow. He is a nice big horse who has been growing throughout the year and it is possible he will go juvenile hurdling. We will see how he runs tomorrow before deciding whether to send him hurdling this autumn or to give him a break and wait until spring.
