WIND PLACE AND SHO makes his seasonal reappearance at Newmarket tomorrow. He runs in a 2 mile handicap and Ryan Tate takes the ride. There are 9 runners and he carriers top weight. He has been off for a long time as we gave him a proper holiday after a hurdling campaign. He didn't seem to really enjoy hurdling but it may have been because he had had a long stint on the flat. That is why he has had a long break and we have been pleased with the way he has been going at home. It won't be easy for him tomorrow carrying top weight on soft ground and he will probably just need the run. We haven't ruled out another crack at hurdling with him sometime but we will see how he goes tomorrow. We hope the break has done him good and he can show some of his old enthusiasm again.
