Noteable victory by Sir Note at Kempton!

Sunday, February 26, 2017
It was a great day at Kempton yesterday as SIR NOTE won his 5th chase from 6 runs and his first over the longer trip of 2 1/2 miles. This now gives us a whole new set of options for future races for him. He may have been considered to have been slightly fortunate as GORES ISLAND was upsides him at the last and took a heavy fall. We were relieved to see both horse and jockey get to their feet. SIR NOTE gave a good exhibition of jumping yet again and was given a great ride by Jack Quinlan. He didn't get it all his own way up front which wasn't ideal but Jack managed to get a breather into him before the final straight and he appeared to stay out the trip well.
He is entered in the Grand Annual at the Cheltenham Festival but may still not get into the race so he could return to Kempton on March 18th instead.
