SIR NOTE steps up in trip to 2 1/2 miles for the first time at Kempton tomorrow. There are 7 runners and Jack Quinlan takes the ride. We felt it was a good time to try him over a longer distance now so we can decide where to go with him in the future. His last win at Leicester gave us encouragement that he would stay as he went away from the rest of the field between the last and the line and Leicester is a stiff track. We hope the rain will stay away and the going remains good as he is a better horse on this ground. It looks an open contest so if he does stay he must have a good chance tomorrow.
