Debut for Apache Song tomorrow

Tuesday, February 21, 2017
APACHE SONG makes her debut for us in the juvenile hurdle race at Doncaster tomorrow afternoon. There are 8 runners and Trevor Whelan takes the ride. She was bought specifically to go jumping and we see her as a long term National Hunt prospect and hope she will one day graduate to jump fences. Tomorrow will be her first run over hurldes so it is very much a first day at school and the Nick Williams trained Diable De Sivola will be hard to beat. APACHE SONG  has worked and schooled well at home so if she jumps round she should run a decent race tomorrow.
SANDY COVE returns to Kempton tomorrow evening where he is a 3 times course and distance winner. He is drawn 7 of the 8 runners and Ryan Tate takes the ride. He ran a good race at Chelmsford last time out and is racing off a pound lower mark tomorrow but he is still rated 2 pounds higher than his highest winning mark. He is in good form at home so should be in with a shout again tomorrow.
