ENVOY makes his racecourse debut at Yarmouth tomorrow in a mile maiden and is drawn 5 of the 9 runners. He is a nice big horse who will make up into a lovely 3 year old next year. He has been working nicely at home but it does looks if it is a very hot maiden. We want to give him racecourse experience and on his home form he is capably of running a nice race. We will see how he goes but this will probably be his only race this season as he is very much a horse for next year.
PENNERLEY heads for Salisbury to run in a 10 furlong handicap. There are 12 runners and she is drawn 6. We gave her a break after she ran at Newmarket as we were suspicious that she wasn't quite right. She came back and ran a nice race at Sandown last time out as she needed the run. That race proved she was better over 10 furlongs than 12 and she does need cut in the ground which she will get tomorrow. Thomas Brown is back on board, he rode her at Pontefract earlier in the season which was her first run in a handicap and her best run so far. We hope with that with the trip and ground in her favour she can run well.
