2 runners at Chelmsford tomorrow evening

Wednesday, October 5, 2016
WILD SHOT and NEXT TRAINS' GONE  head to local track Chelmsford tomorrow evening and both will be ridden by Ryan Tate. WILD SHOT runs in a mile maiden and is drawn 7 of the 8 runners. He ran quite a nice race first time out at Pontefract and the form is beginning to work out as the horse that finished 1/2 length in front of him that day, AVANTGARDIST, was second recently. The trip is the same as last time so will suit him and he has worked alot on the polytrack at home so the surface should be fine for him too. Every maiden is red hot at this time of year but he has come on from his first run and should run a reasonable race.
NEXT TRAINS GONE is stepping up in distance to 2 miles and is drawn 6 of the 8 runners. He is very much bred to be a stayer so the trip should suit him and he has run well on the polytrack before. He is still a big baby who will improve with time and age but we are hoping for a good run from him tomorrow.
