Wind Place and Sho re routed to Pontefract

WIND PLACE AND SHO did not get in to the handicap at Royal Ascot so seeks compensation at Pontefract tomorrow. He runs in a 2 mile 2 furlong handicap there and is drawn 2 of the 13 runners. Ryan Tate takes the ride, he has ridden him once before as a 2 year old. It looks a suitable race for him and he is course winner there so we know he likes the track. Hopefully the ground will remain good which will suit him and so should the trip. He wore cheekpieces at York last time out but we have left them off this time as there was no obvious benefit from them. He is in good form at home and we are looking forward to seeing him run in this race as he should have a good chance.
