First 2 year old runner tomorrow

Monday, May 30, 2016
VOTE will be our first 2 year old runner of the season at Leicester tomorrow in a 5 furlong novice stakes. She is drawn 2 of the 7 runners and Ryan Tate rides. She is running against horses with previous racecourse experience which will be to their advantage but she is a nice filly who has been showing good speed at home. If she runs as well as she has been working at home then she will run a decent race. We hope the ground will be OK, if they get any rain there it will not hinder her.  It will be good to have a 2 year old runner to give us a line to the others in the yard.
NEXT TRAIN'S GONE makes the longer journey to Redcar tomorrow. He runs in a 10 furlong median auction maiden. Jack Garritty takes the ride and he is drawn 8 of the 10 runners. He ran a nice race first time out on the polytrack at Lingfield where the track was not ideal for him. He is a big long striding horse and still a bit on the weak side. He will get further in time but this trip on this track will suit him alot better than Lingfield and he should run a decent race. He is suited by good or faster ground so wouldn't want too much rain there.
