Ice Slice returns to Brighton

Monday, May 2, 2016
ICE SLICE returns to Brighton tomorrow, the scene of his victory 2 weeks ago. There are 7 runners, he is drawn 4 and Ryan Tate takes the ride again. It is a step up in class but he has only gone up 4 pounds to 76. He has won off 75 in previous seasons so is still on a winnable mark. The ground was given as good to soft last time but it ended up being good by the time he ran and he handled it well. Tomorrows ground is currently good, they have watered and and there is rain forecast so it should be OK for him. He is a course and distance winner so goes there with a good chance. If the ground does change to good to firm then he will not run but hopefully they will get some rain.
