LONGSIDE heads to Brighton tomorrow to run in a 12 furlong handicap and is drawn 1 of the 8 runners. Luke Morris takes the ride, he knows him well and finished third on him on his final start of the year last year. He has not run since then, and like all the other horses that have had break, he has done well for it and is in very good form at home. He is bred on very similar lines to stablemate SANDY COVE who acts well at Brighton so we hope LONGSIDE will too. The ground is currently good/firm which will suits him so we hope that the rain and sleet stays away! He seems to be a late maturing type who is only coming to himself now and has done well from 3 to 4 years. He may need this first run of the season but as long as he handles the track he should run well.
