PERCEUS drops back to 2 miles at Uttoxeter tomorrow where he runs in a novice handicap hurdle. There are 10 runners and Jack Quinlan will once again take the ride. He is a course winner and it looked as if he didn't get home at Sandown last time out over 2 1/2 miles so this seems a sensible option. He has been in good form since that race and schooled very well on Tuesday. The ground should be ideal for him as it is currently good/soft, soft in places, and doesn't look as if it will dry up further. It looks a competitive race but he goes there in good heart and we are hopeful that he will run a decent race.
