Testing conditions for Spa's Dancer tomorrow

Friday, January 15, 2016
SPA'S DANCER runs in a 2 mile 0-110 rated novice handicap hurdle at Warwick tomorrow and there are 14 runners. It is an ideal race for him, the only question mark is whether he will get home on the ground which is heavy at the moment. They are holding an inspection in the morning as severe frosts are expected but they have put frost blankets on the track so every effort is being made to save the meeting. He has been ready to run for a while but we have been waiting for the right race, this seemed the best available option. He likes soft ground on the flat and Warwick is a sharp track so hopefully he will get home in these conditions. He ran well last time out at Ludlow finishing 4th, beaten less than 5 lengths. He settled well in front with the hood on so hopefully he can do the same again. If he does get the trip in the ground then he should be thereabouts tomorrow.
