Buterfly flies home at Doncaster

Saturday, December 12, 2015
There is something about Doncaster in December that suits IRON BUTTERFLY well as she won there in impressive style yesterday. The ground and trip suited her well and she was always travelling nicely, she won by 5 lengths and was eased down at the finish. It was a good day for jockey Jack Quinlan who rode a double on the card from only 2 rides. It was also great for owner breeder Harold Nass as he is going to keep IRON BUTTERFLY  to breed from, she will make a lovely dual purpose broodmare. Her retirement to the paddocks may be slightly delayed if she stays in this form though! Her next intended target is a mares hurdle race at Wetherby on January 8th.
