Two runners at Newbury tomorrow

TEA BLOSSOM runs in the Group 3 St Simon Stakes at Newbury tomorrow and could really do with a change of luck. She is a very nice filly who has definitely not had the rub of the green this year.  It would be great if she could round off the season with a clear run tomorrow.  She is drawn 8 of the 9 runners and Graham Lee takes the ride. 12 furlongs on soft ground should suit her well and fillies do have a good record in this race. It has also been a good race for us too as Orcadian won it a few years ago. She will be a big price tomorrow but if she can get a decent run she can hopefully show us what she can do.
SPA'S DANCER runs in a 10 furlong handicap on the same card and will also be ridden by Graham Lee. There rare 14 runners and he is drawn 12. He was unfortunately brought down in his last race over hurdles but seems none the worse for it and does seem to have a real spring in his step since he has been hurdling. We hope it will have revitalised him on the flat and he can return to form. He could easily bounce back in a race of this type and has run well at Newbury before.  The slight concern would be the ground if they got too much rain there tomorrow as 10 furlongs is the furthest he would like to go on soft ground.
