Handicap debut for Dancer over hurdles tomorrow

Monday, October 12, 2015
SPA'S DANCER will have his first run in a handicap over hurdles at Huntingdon tomorrow over 2 miles. There are 11 runners and Jack Quinlan takes the ride. He ran well at Warwick las time out, his first run for us over hurdles, but was a bit keen and enthusiastic. He got to the front too soon and got a bit tired but stayed on to finish third. He has been given a rating of 112 which looks a reasonable mark as long as he can settle better this time. He will wear a hood tomorrow which he has schooled in at home and settled well in it so hopefully that will help him. The ground is good at the moment which should be ideal for him as it will help him get the trip. The plan will be to ride him less positively this time and if he can settle well then he must have a chance tomorrow.
