Wind Place and Sho can lead the way tomorrow

Thursday, September 24, 2015
WIND PLACE AND SHO is one of three runners tomorrow and would have the best chance but if they get a bit of luck in running both TEA BLOSSOM and ICE SLICE both have each way chances too. TEA BLOSSOM stays close to him as she runs in the 12 furlong fillies Listed race at Newmarket. She is drawn 11 of the 14 runners and Fergus Sweeney takes the ride.  She ran well in the Galtres Stakes at York last time out but was badly interfered with, if she can show that form again and the form of her run at Newcastle behind COVERT LOVE she would have an each way chance. She likes a bit of cut in the ground and it should remain good to soft tomorrow which will suit her well.
WIND PLACE AND SHO and ICE SLICE both travel up to Haydock. WIND PLACE AND SHO runs in a 1 mile and 6 furlong handicap and there are only 6 runners. He ran very well over the course and distance to finish 3rd earlier in the season in a good handicap. He was disappointing last time out at York and there is no obvious explanation but he has been in good form at home since so if you ignore that run he must have a good chance. Graham Lee takes the ride and he won on him at Pontefract so hopefully he can maintain his winning record on the horse. He also rides ICE SLICE who he has ridden to victory before too. He runs in a mile handicap and there are 13 runners. The more rain they get there the better for him, the ground is currently good to soft but if it becomes softer then  it will suit him even better. It is his time of year so we are hoping for the best tomorrow.
