LONGSIDE, was only beaten by a nose on his debut for us last week, hopefully he can go one better at Ripon tomorrow. We were delighted with his run at Leicester as he showed all the right qualities and he is running over the same distance again. We hope the ground will still be good by tomorrow, his action suggests he will be suited by good or softer ground but it was on the fast side of good at Leicester. Tony Hamilton takes the ride and he knows Ripon well. he rode the winner of the big race there on Saturday, the Great St Wilfrid Handicap, so we hope we have the right man on board. LONGSIDE is drawn 10 of the 13 runners and must have a good chance tomorrow.
