Crispies runs on Derby Day

Friday, June 5, 2015
MAJOR CRISPIES heads for Epsom on Derby Day tomorrow to run in a 6 furlong handicap. He ran a good race at Windsor on Monday evening, finishing 5th,  and has come out of the race bouncing so we feel it is with taking our chance again tomorrow. It does not look the strongest race for its grade on paper, it is probably not as strong as the Goodwood race he ran well in recently. The sharp 6 furlongs may not be ideal for him but Epsom does have a stiff finish which may play to his strengths. We hope they do not have too much rain there today and the ground remains good or faster. He will need a bit of luck in running with 14 runners but he could be thereabouts and it is nice to have a runner at Epsom on Derby Day.
