2 runners on Bank Holiday Monday

Sunday, May 3, 2015
ICE SLICE and MAJOR CRISPIES are both intended runners tomorrow unless ground conditions change considerably. ICE SLICE is declared to run at Beverley in a mile handicap and Graham Lee takes the ride. There are 10 runners and he is drawn 5. He ran very well first time out this season finishing second to a fit horse with good recent form. He has been in great form at home since this run and, if they get the rain, he will run very well. If the ground is not softer than good by tomorrow then he won't run.
MAJOR CRISPIES is declared to run at Windsor and needs the opposite ground conditions to ICE SLICE. We don't want toO much more rain for him as he likes fast ground. He is running is a 6 furlong handicap and is well drawn in stall 2 of the the 10 runners. Adam Kirby rides him again, he rode him well to finish third at Leicester last time out. He has been knocking at the door in recent runs so hopefully he can get his head in front this time.
