Torran Sound fresh for Folkestone
Mon 30th January 2012
TORRAN SOUND has bee freshened up after his run at Uttoxeter at New Year and heads for Folkestone tomorrow. He is running in a 2 1/4 mile handicap hurdle and there are 9 runners. He ran a sound race on heavy ground last time out, tomorrow the going should be slightly better, it is being given as Gd/sft, and this should be more in his favour. He will be wearing a visor for the first time, he has worn cheekpieces and blinkers before. Just thought it was worth trying something different on him. He is never given any favours by the handicapper so if the visor can produce a pound or 2 of improvement it would help his chances. He seems in good form at home and the track and trip should suit him so he should go close tomorrow.
